Writing Away the Apathy with Marina L. Reed, Ep. 162

Toronto-born writer, researcher and artist Marina L. Reed has been penning stories since she was a small child, growing up in rural Ontario. Reed has worked as a researcher and writer for CBC Television, as a mentor for struggling families, has written for journals and online education programs, and has taught the arts to people aged 4-18 in schools across Ontario, Europe, and the West Indies. Reed holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor (where she won the Board of Governor’s Medal). She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor Degree of Education from the University of Toronto. She is an avid lover of nature and the magic that surrounds us. She currently lives outside Toronto where she creates her art. Reed’s debut novel, Primrose Street, is forthcoming from Blue Moon Publishers in 2018.
