I know, I know ... it's been a week or so. Most of last week was spent taking care of Kara as she recovered from her surgery (take that, mister "Where's Kevin been lately?"). But I'm back now, and rested up after a relaxing weekend on Lake Conroe.

We went up Friday after work and spent the next couple of days taking in fresh air and cool breezes. Oh, and eating. Eating like we had just discovered what food was.

I have the bad habit of over-eating on vacation. It's like I simply cannot get enough food crammed into my gullet. I end up feeling like roadkill, and can't remember anything I ate anyway. Good times.

The bad news is that I didn't win the Mega Millions, and so had to report for duty as usual this morning. I don't mind, though, because I'm secretly stealing post-its for use in my ginormous, life-sized decoupage of the earth. Once I'm done I'm moving all my stuff there and you suckers can go on thinking you're all superior and cool because YOU have oxygen and food and water. I'll live off of the land, harvesting blue and wood pulp.

I'm calling it Awesomopia.
